Answers to Commonly Asked Questions
Q: I currently have job positions posted on one of the other "Consulting Industry" job boards as well as one of the "Big Three" job boards. Is there a benefit to also posting my jobs on ConsultingCareerQuest.com?
Yes....Here's why....
Fact....Every job board attracts an audience of its own. Sure, some overlapping visits occur (i.e., the same job seeker visiting multiple job boards), but the proportion of overlapping visits specific to YOUR postings is definitely not large enough to offset the benefit of having job posting presence at multiple boards. In other words, the more (relevant) job boards on which you post, the wider the audience of relevant job seekers you will attract.
The constraining factors for posting at multiple boards are a combination of time/effort limitations and cost/budget constraints. You should therefore focus on using multiple boards that are ones most likely to attract the audience of candidates you seek. A broad-based posting strategy at an assortment of RELEVANT job boards will definitely improve the volume of qualified incoming job seeker candidates.
Remember....There is no single source job board -- major board, niche board or otherwise. Utilizing a portfolio of relevant job boards is a key posting strategy.
NOTE: Another thing to keep in mind....If you regularly use executive search firms to assist you in your recruiting efforts, those firms will DEFINITELY incorporate an arsenal of job boards into their search campaigns and recruiting efforts. It is a sure bet that they will utilize any relevant job board not incorporated into your own job posting program. You are much better off "covering yourself" by using as many of the most relevant job boards as possible. Job board posting fees, even when considered on an annual basis, are much more economical than paying a search fee. Your goal is to ensure your search firms earn their fee by finding candidates you would not otherwise find on your own.
Bottom line....consider using all three of the the prominent Consulting Industry Job Boards, including ConsultingCareerQuest.com. Also consider using at least one of the "Big Three" job boards as well as any other "niche" boards specific to particular recruiting needs.
One final point....ConsultingCareerQuest.com helps you achieve broader job posting coverage through a job posting distribution system unmatched by our competitors. See our job board distribution information HERE>>.
